The desire to write this book appeared in the winter days spent with friends Joseph Planas in the huts in the Carpathians, when our long talks about the causesof the international economic and financial crisis, and especially about the measures to be taken to solve our business issuesdid not get any satisfactory results.

Two distinguished researchers of European postal history, Edwin Muller and Umberto Del Bianco, statedin their books that there wans't a from of organized postal service in the Romanian Countries. The present book contradicts roughdocuments the foreign researchers' statements.
